KDCA Is a Christian Private School — Not a Daycare
Established in October 2023, Kimmy D’s Christian Academy, (a faith-based nonprofit organization), is a Christian private school and learning center, not a daycare, childcare center, or babysitting service. Founded by Mrs. Kimberly Davis and supported by a governing Board, KDCA provides structured academic instruction, Biblical education, individualized learning plans, and a curriculum‑based program for students ages 3 through 12th grade. Our mission is to educate, develop, and disciple students—not to provide childcare or custodial supervision.
KDCA operates as a private educational institution, similar to public schools, charter schools, learning centers, colleges, and church‑based educational programs. These institutions are exempt from Texas Child Care Licensing because their primary purpose is education, not childcare. KDCA follows the same exemption standards, and we maintain official documentation confirming our status, which is available for review upon request.
Because KDCA is a school—not a daycare—our policies, expectations, and daily routines reflect a structured learning environment. Students participate in academic instruction, Christian education, enrichment activities, and purposeful routines throughout the day. Families enrolling in KDCA should understand that our program is designed for education, spiritual development, and whole‑child growth, not for babysitting or custodial care.
KDCA provides a safe, nurturing, Christ‑centered environment where students learn, explore, and grow academically and spiritually. We ask all families to honor and support this distinction as part of our shared commitment to excellence.
